Terrible review, they Mark it down for not being as good as the full games campaign, despite it being a DLC Expansion. It looks incredible, Brumak battles resulting in collapsing skyscrapers, RAAM's Squad, New Character Skins, Weapon skin and more in a piece of DLC. They gave Gears of War 3 a 10/10, and it seems they're trying to review the DLC as a full game...
It's a DLC review, they've already given the game 10/10.
What's it like in the future?
But seriously, the trailer will be CGI no doubt.
Can't wait.
That is incredibly unfortunate, they where fantastic developers of who were, if anything, underrated. I wish the staff Good Luck for the future and that the S.T.A.L.K.E.R franchise falls in to good hands...
Don't take this as a conformation of the Next Box vein released next year. Crytek have been named as the developers of Homefront 2, of which has a release window of 2013, they have claimed that the sequel will be the greatest game the studio have developed to date, therefor, they will be focusing the majority of their staff on that project, perhaps picking Ryse back up approaching the completion of Homefront 2 in 2013...
Also, let's not forget the solidification of H...
So, you're saying that Batman Arkham City looks better than Gears of War 3 and Battlefield 3?
The Critical and Commercial Success of the entire franchise disagree's with you...
What next, Batman Arkham City being nominated for Best Graphics over Battlefield 3 and Gears of War 3 is a step in the right direction?
The VGA's are relatively biased in my opinion, despite being a fantastic game, Batman Arkham City does not deserve nominating for best graphics, why has it been? Well, I would say it's die to the exclusivity of the first 2 Trailers on the past 2 VGA's.
Gears of War 3 is MY personal Game of the Year...
Hit seeking review. The previews were released today, they obviously thought that by creating a fake review they'd get more hits...
Well it was met with Critical Acclaim and Sold and astonishing 3 Million in it's first week. If I'm correct it's been the best selling Exclusive title of the year. Also, I'd like to add that here in the UK it received a lot of advertisement. It doesn't need to sell consoles, because the franchise already has sold and created a huge community.
Having been with the franchise since day one, Gears of War 3 is my personal Game of the Year, and I couldn't ca...
Great to see Lee heading an Epic Games project, I hope Cliffy B still has a significant role in the title also as well as Rod Fergusson.
The Darkness II is a growing concern for me, strongly reminding me of this years F.E.A.R 3, a game of which, for me, lost its franchises persona. The Darkness II has abandoned it's gritty realistic graphics and has adopted a somewhat more arcade gameplay style. Despite Co-Op being a promising addition to any franchise, by disregarding competitive, it stands almost zero chance of having a lasting online community. Also, whilst The original Darkness' multiplayer was atrocious, this move...
Cliffy B has stated countless times that Microsoft have been fantastic to work with as they provide huge levels of funding and in regards to exclusive advertising are second to none...
Having been with the Gears of War franchise since day one I can't wait to see what Epic have planned next. No matter what it is, it's guaranteed to be a masterpiece...
Keep dreaming, Troll.
I couldn't care less about the VGA's Award wise, their nominations reek of staging. Let's look at this from a different perspective, despite Batman: Arkham City being a brilliant game, graphically it can't stand toe to toe with the likes of Battlefield 3, Gears of War 3, Crysis 2 and such. So, why was it nominated? Well, back in 2009 who featured the debut trailer for Batman Arkham City? The VGA's. In 2010 who had another exclusive trailer? The VGA's. Let's be hone...
Beautiful Graphic, horrible gameplay.
I didn't create the list as a means of changing your opinion, I was merely stating that you were incorrect about it being "too similar to previous titles". Each Gears of War game has its own feel and I would be hard pressed to find a game with so many new additions this year...
Why must people be as pathetic as to argue over sales? People could easily mention Resistence 3, which was most likely bigger budget and sold 180,000 Copies in it's first month compared to Gears of War 3's 3.5 Million in it's first week. What I don't understand is why the Playstation community brag about having a huge catalogue of exclusives only to not buy them. And you bring Alan Wakes sales into an argument started through the denial of this not being gameplay, which it isn...
